Program Overview

Offered as either a Level III or Level IV Badge, this micro-credential requires you to excel in making sense of data patterns and anomalies. Alongside a faculty mentor, you will practice identifying gaps in knowledge, formulating questions, analyzing evidence and generating possible explanations in situations where definitive solutions may be elusive.

You should pursue this micro-credential if:

  • You are an undergraduate or graduate student at Quinnipiac

  • You are interested in research and reflection

  • You are prepared to present or co-present your research at a professional conference or co-author a scholarly work with a faculty member

Program Dates and Details

This program is completed in partnership with a supervising faculty or staff mentor. Depending on the nature of your contribution, work may be completed online, on-campus or in a blended format.

Both the Level III and Level IV Badges require you to contribute to an original research project or study within a faculty or staff member’s scholarly expertise — creating original content, presentations, publications or performing other creative scholarship. The nature of your contribution depends on the academic discipline of the supervising faculty or staff member as well as the modes of inquiry of the relevant field of study.

Level IV

The highest level of micro-credentials we offer, Level IV badges are recognized by employers as a means of identifying learners who are qualified and capable of performing particular skills or sharing specialized knowledge within professional environments.
