Through this Level III Badge, you will learn how to manage cybersecurity risks in financial technologies and demonstrate a working knowledge of modern FinTech technologies, including cloud, blockchain, AI and 5G wireless. During this course, you'll gain hands-on experience using industry-standard security risk analysis tools.

All learners who complete the criteria will earn a Level III Badge.

  1. Complete CYB 617 Intro Cyber Risk in FinTech (3 Credits). In this course, students learn the basics of how to manage cybersecurity risks in the changing landscape of financial technology and applications such as AI, 5G wireless, cloud and blockchain.

Key Skills Acquired:

  • Master diverse risk analysis methodologies and scenarios

  • Integrate risk into security policies and risk management programs such as an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program

  • Use the FFIEC CAT tool to evaluate cybersecurity risk in a model organization
